Fisher, Oregon
This south Lincoln County site was named for the fisher, a member of the weasel family that was trapped out of the Coast Range by the mid-1900s. Curiously, its first postmaster’s first name was Martin and a later one’s last name was Mink. Only two houses remain here, and one burned down shortly before this picture of a remnant was taken. (Platinum/palladium print from 8x10 film negative.)
