Now located on private property where Fort Rock Valley meets Christmas Lake Valley, Loma Vista was founded in 1913. Only bits of wooden roof beams can be found at the site, buried in sand blown in over the years from plowed over land to the west. The Loma Vista School, one of the first to close in 1918, is now one of three former school buildings that make up the Grange Hall in Fort Rock town.
